Every dog who stays at Beau’s Backyard enjoys supervised play time in a safe, secure, fenced yard where he or she will feel as comfortable as at home. You won’t have to worry about your small or medium dog feeling intimidated by strange animals or other more aggressive dogs, because our policy is never to allow dogs from different families to be in the play yard at the same time. This is your pet’s time and we do our part to make sure your dog enjoys every minute.

 

Run, Fetch, Sniff, Roll

When it is your dog’s turn in the yard, she is going to have a ball. We don’t just open the door and let your dog out to wander alone in a strange environment. We provide supervised play time with plenty of personal attention based on what you’ve told us about your dog’s regular routine. If your pup loves to fetch or tug, bring her favorite ball or rope toy. If she is the curious sort who prefers exploring the fenced perimeter and investigating all the delightful country smells our place has to offer, she can do so at her leisure, while we keep a watchful eye close by.

 

As lifelong pet owners and dog lovers, we like to think we have a pretty good handle on typical dog behavior, so if your pup makes it clear he wants to roll around in the grass or lie quietly in the sun, we give him his space. But we also know that every dog needs exercise and loves to have attention, so we encourage healthy play time and do everything you’d do yourself to engage your pet, just like you would at home.
